this summer we took a trip to ogden, ut to spend time with our family and participate in the wood reunion. we camped in huntsville with our uncle woody and enjoyed playing baseball,making crafts, eating delicious food, and listening to stories from our relatives. sadie mostly enjoyed playing with her aunts, uncle and cousins!!! here are just a few of my favorite pictures from the trip.

my little girl is full of personality! she is constantly busy doing something….and all of it is GIRLY! sometimes it drives me crazy. like when we are trying to leave the house and she has to change her shoes to her “princess” shoes instead of her flip-flops…..or trying to get in the car when she insists on having her sunglasses on first. but most all of the time she is hilarious! she loves being funny and making everyone laugh with her cuteness. so i am posting these pictures because it is a rare occasion that she lets me capture her being still and perfect. i love her, she is a joy in my life and for anyone who meets her.

well……i have stated that i am not a wedding photographer anymore, BUT i could not help myself when i attended this gorgeous wedding on june 19th.

i cant describe in words how beautiful this wedding was, every detail was simply perfect!

one more family saying good bye, and one more missionary heading out. I had so much fun with the tidwell family! we kept each other laughing the whole time. but i have to say my favorite part was seeing brandon loving his nephew. he made a special effort to get matching outfits just for him and landon. i could really see how much he was going to miss that little guy. good luck! we will miss you brandon!

congrats to the toones for sending out their new missionary. i had the opportunity to do a last minute photo shoot for them the week before the said good bye to mitchel for two years. good luck out on the field. and toones, …..hope you enjoy this sneak peak.

sadie’s 2nd birthday party with family at the pool. the two tutus and the red retro kitchen were a big hit!

Thanks to all family who came, and special thanks to auntie sha-sha for coming all the way down from utah.

and another thanks to melissa for documenting the day for me and giving me the chance to be the mom and not the photographer for once.

5 family sessions in two days! one jammed packed weekend in phoenix. i thought i would totally stress out but….im happy to report that it was a ball! each family was different making it a blast to photograph, different places different ideas. enjoy this sneak peak.
